As a heads up to everyone, here’s a pretty no-strings attached contest (it’s one of those blog post contests where you comment and sign up for a newsletter) to win an Olay prize package - $25 worth of skin care.
I’m kind of curious whether any of you have used Olay products frequently with any real results...
Here’s the link to the giveaway:

I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be a downer - Olay products are notorious for animal testing. I don’t know why, in this day and age, any company feels they still have to test their stuff on helpless bunnies and monkeys, because the technology exists to test cosmetics just as well in other ways. Also, so many companies - including big ones like Revlon and small ones like Carol’s Daughter - don’t use animal testing at all. Revlon gave it up in the ‘80s. The new makeup companies, many of the ones at Sephora, have never tested on animals. So we have choices.
Yes, the drug store brands can be cheaper than the Sephora brands, but there are even drug store brands that are non-animal tested.
I don’t mean to rant, but Olay advertises so much that many women are unwittingly contributing to the pain and devatation of innocent animals.
Well. Hmm. I guess I need to be more outspoken, right?
