In my 100th post, I confess how I have strayed from my Mennonite allegiance to farmer sausage and cabbage rolls.  I’ve betrayed my people and for this I am deeply sorry.

    • I agree that doing vegan is a good thing. Due to my daughter being a vegetarian I have cut down on meat and actually like some soy stuff. However, when it comes to a burger I don’t enjoy a veggie burger so I eat a turkey or beef burger. I’ll try again...

All the best to you in doing the vegan thing in 2013!

    • Thanks, Linda.  I find that once all the condiments and extras are on, the veggie burgers are not bad.  Some better than others.  You can also try the portabella mushroom option - very meaty!

      So far so good...

    • We try to incorporate as much vegan as possible, hub is a bit picky, but we buy our lean meats from Whole Foods where the animals are farm raised, so that will appease both hub and son.

Good Luck to you in your vegan lifestyle!happy
