“Gifted Hands” - the Ben Carson Story will premier on TNT Saturday, February 7th at 8 PM.  The show is sponsored by Johnson & Johnson. Please check local listings for other dates and times.

He was the guest speaker for the Back to School event held at the University of South Carolina-at Aiken Convocation Center in Aiken, SC last fall.  It was a remarkable lecture and I am sure his life story put to film will be just as intriguing.

My sister had the privilege of hearing him speak at this event and said he was amazing.  I encourage you all to watch this on TNT.

You can also google him and find all sorts of other information about him.  He is truly amazing.

    • Mary, I met him and his wife Candy (and ate lunch with them) a couple of years ago. He was the key note speaker at a Glycomics Conference I attended. He spoke for FREE at the conference because he had life changing results with the glyconutrients I am so passionate about. I have actually heard him speak several times but it was such a pleasure to eat lunch with him. He is such an humble man. He seemed as interested in my life as I was in his.
Since we don’t have TV (just monitors for dvds and such) I won’t get to see it. I thought it was a movie - is it an ongoing show? I was going to offer to pay somebody to record it for me. I would love to see it. I have read all his books, except the latest one. I am told there is a chapter where he talks about glyconutrients with regard to his health challenge. I need to order it. I have made all my kids read his book Think BIG as a part of their school. So inspiring!

    • My sister and sister in law who both teach in the Aiken County school district were able to hear him.  The county brought him in to speak to all the teachers as a kick off to the new school year.  Usually they have boring speakers and the teachers are biting at the bit to get in their classrooms that have tons of work for them...but this time...they were all so intrigued.  She said he was very motivating and a wonderful speaker.  I have not heard him but my family members were in “awe” of him.  I can’t wait to see the movie on Feb. 7th.
Happymomma..see if someone locally can tape it for you.
That is neat you got to have lunch with him.
