Carrying your weight at the job is a challenge for some, never gonna happen with others and overwhelming sooner or later for the best of us.

Damn! I work my ass off at my job and of course my rationale is all about serving the public, but getting my coworkers to see it that way seems like it’s never gonna happen.

Supervisors take advantage of me (atleast that’s what I think). If there’s a 100 you can best believe I processed 75. I’m thankful it’s Friday cuz I called in sick.

    • I guess it all depends on one’s work ethics...when I worked at a 250 man camp on the night shift we had to have everything ready by 5:30 am...for the breakfast rush...and there was usually 2 of us that had to do all this prep work and cleaning...also I was the breakfast cook so I had all of my stuff to do...they would take their time and not really accomplish much...I figured no use complaining as that didn’t really help...so I just kept at it...did everything to the best of my ability because if I didn’t it would never get done and would eventually reflect on me...and there was no way I am going to let anyone say that I do a half ass job.

    • I never thought of that one, “and there was no way I am going to let anyone say that I do a half ass job“.

But you know those people are going to say all manner of things regardless of the truth. Another reason why I try hard to please God and let him take care of the rest.
