My goodness...this moving thing can sure get tiring...I am still in the midst of packing...it’s going slow but surely...I have been stuck with most of the packing as my daughter is really busy with other commitments. I really don’t mind as it keeps me busy and out of trouble...
I was suppose to move in a few days ago...but it seems my unit had been broken into last weekend and they had to go in and repaint some of it...they told me not to worry as it wasn’t anything major...I was glad as I had not completely finished with the packing...so it works out on both ends.
I get my keys on Tuesday and plan on doing the moving on Wednesday and Thursday...Then I have to get my butt unpacking...at least the kitchen, living room and bathroom as I have to have it ready for the 18th.
Friday the 18th is my annual Christmas party...I have not had one for the past two years as there has been so much going on in my life...and I seem to be coming out of this slump I have been in...so I thought it is time to get back to normal and get on with life...New home...time to celebrate the season...why not have a Christmas Party...things are looking up for me...and I know the new year is going to be a good one and everything is going to be alright...
Enjoy your new home, Karyn! Having a gathering of friends and loved ones sounds like a great way to “christen” the new place and bring it some warmth and love.
