about news I just received by e-mail. The newspaper that printed one of my poems when I was a little girl (age 8 or 9)
is going to look into their archives for me to find the poem. I asked my mother for the poem many years ago and she said that she threw it away. (My mother and I don’t get along so well). My 4th grade school teacher had submitted my poem and tried to encourage my writing....(my mother didn’t). Anyway...I’m excited that I’ll finally have a copy. I can only remember a couple of lines from it...as it was almost 40 years ago. The reason I thought of it was because it was entitled “Fall“. Anyway, when I/they find it I’ll try to put it on Fab40. I’d love to share my view of Autumn from a 4th graders set of eyes.
