    • this is probably going to sound corny but to be honest it’s being here that has helped me with fear of failure and procrastination.

I started  business years ago in Washington State but after moving to Hawaii to get married I’ve been dabbling with my work on a hobbie level not really moving forward. Something happened during the past year since I’ve been here. I’m actually able to make phone calls on behalf of my business and really this is something that used to have me sweating with fear. I’ve gotten a lot of caring and encouragement on this site.

Do I always feel confident? No. But I move ahead in faith anyway, do my best, and release the results. Some are good, some aren’t so good. But I learn and grow from each experience.

What ever it is, Dalia, just do your best each time. You will have success if you do. You are doomed to fail if you never try. Do it! And let us encourage you along the way!

    • I’ve never had fear of failure but there have been times when I have been unsure of what steps to take in which direction. Which that can lead to procrastination.

The only person who really would know that you failed would be you. Everyone else will just think you are trying out options!

    • Coachmombabe,

For people of faith there is a verse in the Bible that can be applied to every concern one might have. As a woman of faith the scripture that comes to mind has these words in it.....those He calls He equips and those He equips He calls......

It is okay to be filled with fear and procrastination just do it anyway and once you taste it you’ll know whether or not you want to continue.

    • Donna, it makes me think of Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I find encouragement in that!
