Today I finally played nine holes of golf!! I was really nervous this morning  before I left to go to the golf course. I bet I went to the bathroom ten times before I left.
Once there I started to get excited about playing and my confidence was coming back. Especially since my husband took me out last week and we played the front nine.
We drew cards to get a partner. We drew 4 fours so we were the last group and low and behold we started on the BACK NINE!! Never been on the back nine. Had not a clue how to even get to the back nine. Lucky for me the lady I was paired with knew the course well so off we went.
It was confusing at first keeping track of strokes and putts but started getting the hang of it. My hitting the ball was not to bad for my first time out. Did loose two balls both in a water hazard.
Need to work on my putting. Looks easy when they do it on TV...not so easy out there.
My score was a 75.... Not good, I know, but hey it can only get better from here!! Next week we’ll give it another go and will post my progress.
I am truly and officially OUT OF THE BACK YARD!!
