I’m still in pain today yet I managed to take my little boy (my dog Samson) for a walk along the river.  I was so hoping to see the bald eagle again today.  During my walk last week along the river I saw a bald eagle sitting on a weathered log along the bank of the river.  It was so majestic even though not in flight.  I had to stop and just look and watch.  I felt a deep sense of thankfulness for being blessed to witness such an awesome creature.  Today’s walk showed me a couple of great blue herons, white cranes, Canada geese, sand pipers, gulls and mallard ducks.  Even though I didn’t get to see the eagle today I still feel blessed to have been in nature today and to find some restoration for my body, mind and soul...
