Yes Ladies,

That dreaded time is here upon  us again.  Cough and Cold Season !!!  and Shall I say it ?  FLU ....

No one wants it, trust me. You don’t want it. Last years Flu shots (from what I understand from the Pharmacist that I work with all say that,) they just were not a good blocker for stain of flu that went around. I am a good story for that.  I got both the Flu shot and the Pneumonia Shots, And I ended up getting Both.

The word that I have about this years Flu shots is they are supposed to be better this year.  Where I work, we have beem doing about 30 and up flu shots a day, not to mention the Rx’s we still do. So, we are quite busy.  Which is Great, I love it better when we are busy, than when we are Slooow.

So Ladies,

My Rx For today, is if you have not contacted your doctor about wether or not you should get a Flu shot or not, Please do so.  Many Doctors Offices do it right there in the office at no charge, or it may cost you a co-pay. Or many other places are also giving the Flu shots. I do know that many of the  ” Safeway’s ” are doing it, as long as the Pharmacist went thru the training and became Certified.

If you don’t know if You should get a Flu shot, you should always ask your Doctor first.

Anyone with chronic breathing issues, chronic upper respitory issues, Allergies, asthma,  if you typically get pneumonia every year.  Women with chronic health issues.

    • I know I need to get flue shot because I have asthma pretty bad. I had the pneumonia shot but I heard you don’t get that one every year. Does anyone know?

    • Yes,

Jesus‘girl is right, alwaus make sure Whoever gives shots or does any thing where they are touching you,  that they use gloves, and wash their hands.

I was in a hurry, to go to work, and grabbed the picture I came to first.

And She is also Correct, that the flu shots can’t be expected to protect from all strains, altho, they do hope it will take care of the ones we may be introduced to.

If your work is offering them for free,  then thats a deal.

Today when I got to work @ 2, it was just myself, and the Pharmacist, and besides filling presciptions, we also did 15 walk in patients for flu shots.

Btw/ I do have a disclaimer,  I am not a Doctor or a Nurse. I am only a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
