When Amy Harden receives a question at her forum it isn’t about SEO, or how Twitter really works or even about the latest,political drama.

The members of this forum (http://womeninmlc.lefora.com)
are often men—who are watching their wives walk out the door, their serenity dissolve, their children panic and
their financial future threatened by a perfect storm they call MLC; Midlife Crisis.

A recent question posted at the forum was from a woman who described a complete lack of understanding about her own thoughts and actions over the last several years in one profound sentence: “I don’t recognize me anymore.”

Amy, always the Shepherdess,responded to the new member with compassion and wisdom;

“I would highly encourage you to read The Walk Out Woman or The Worn Out Woman. Also read as much as you can here at the forum, especially in the Women’s forum...continue to write and tell us your feelings.

You have had a tough time...you are exhausted mentally, physically and spiritually. Crisis at Mid-life is when you are having difficulty with coping with the mind , body and spirit...they all seem to clash at once...and it sure does sound like you may be building an MLC fire.

You have come to the right place...Be gentle with yourself...knowing that this is truly a time of discovery....it doesn’t have to be a time of destruction.” -Shepherdess

Tomorrow night,Amy will share with us about the trends she’s observed in marriage and family at this forum she created for the people that she both compassionately encourages and firmly rebukes—when it’s necessary. And we’ll get to the bottom of the question—is it midlife crisis or just a ticket to ride?

Be sure and tune in even if you‘re younger than midlife—because your time’s coming, honey!

And tune in even if you‘re a little but past midlife—because someone you know is eventually going to need your help!

And if you‘re a married mid-lifer, set a reminder and pass the link to the show to all your mid-life friends.

Who knows? The marriage you save may be your own!

    • Last week the names of all the darlings who responded to the shout out about our contest were placed in a ruby red cowboy boot. Then the name of one lucky SSTI member was randomly drawn: The winner of the cutest little package of candles made exclusively for She Speaks To Inspire by LightFandangoCandles.com is the Fabulous, Ruby Cantu!

      THIS WEEK—a bigger challenge and more prizes! The show starts at 7PM Texas time. At the end of the show we’ll announce the challenge question of the week and you will have ten minutes to convince us and a chance to win more wonderful prizes—at Talk To Me!

    • I’m so sorry to have missed it. I had a meeting at noon that ran long, had to race over to the shop and then when I logged on I had that run time error message I get sometimes still with blogtalk radio. It locked up my computer and I had to turn the whole thing off and start over again.

      I’ll catch it in the archives but it’s not the same thing as being there live.
