So heres the thing. I have this Lowes gift card that I got as a gift and I thought, HEY! I will go to Lowes and use It getting a new screen door for the front door cause the old one had been thru alot..lol, That thing was falling apart.
I just wanted a simple one, nothing fancy like they have now a days, just a simple ordinary screen that works. The sales guy was very helpful and kind.

So It was time to take It to the register and pay for It, using my gift card estatic Well, I get there and It was my turn and I pay for It....with my debit card! why? because I totally forgot I had my gift cardworried I remembered about my gift card when my friend and I were already In the car and ready to go, mind you It was raining hard at the time so theres no way I was going back In to tell the cashier If I can use my card and get the money back that I spent.

I told my friend, lets forget It and I will use It another time.

Called my friend up today and said HEY!, you wanna go to Lowes again today so I can see If I will find anything to use my gift card on? And he said sure lets go!!estatic I was like COOL!!heart

We get to Lowes and we look around to see what they got. I saw a coat hook, I guess thats what they call them, nail It to the wall to hang coats on Instead of a coat hanger and 2 magazines, racing ones cause I like Nascar. Ok I’m set! here we go to the register again and I get up there and she rings me up, so excited cause I found stuffestatic.

GUESS WHAT?  We headed for the car and BOOM! I forgot to use my gift card. AGAIN!frown I had It In my back pocket this time just so I could have It ready and pull It out when the time came.  My friend looked at me and said ” OMG!”  lol, yeah I know right!

Next time I go there, I am going to tape the gift card to my forehead, so when I get to the register, the cashier will look at me and ask” would you like to use that gift card you have taped to your forehead?”  WHY YES! I would, thank you for asking” worried so this time I won’t FORGET!

Geeze what Is wrong with me. My friend and I just laughed all the way home.

It’s not working, because I keep forgetting to take it“. tongue outestaticfrowntongue outestaticestaticestaticestatic

    • That is funny and cute...Frannie.  A bit of forgetfulness don’t hurt anyone....I am like that ALL the time...lol...an example is when I am running around looking for my glasses...and a few minutes later realize that I have them in my hand! LOL  Tis something we can have a little chuckle at...

And Yana...that was a good one! but seriously speaking I hear that stuff really is good for that...I have yet to try it...but I know of a few people who have....says it works.

    • I tend to forget a lot more lately. I always have to write notes. I’ve meant to grab something before I walk out the door then I’ll get half way there and remember I forgot it. So now I try to plan my next day the day before and get everything ready and put it on my desk along with all my notes!happy
