I got my hair cut a few days ago and I absolutely love it! It's nice that I have enough self-confidence now that I can get my hair cut without fear of what people will think.  Silly me.  Why are we women so self-conscious about our hair???  My husband is constantly amazed at me when I say I'm having a bad hair day.  He scratches his head and says 'but honey it doesn't look much different from yesterday when you said it was a good hair day.' LOL  Men!  They have no idea what it's like to be constantly worried about your hair and always checking in the mirror to see if it's laying just right!  I am very tempted to just shave it all off sometimes ... but alas, my womanly pride won't let me do it.  I probably would still stop at every mirror that I passed. sigh

It’s Christmas again and I’m feeling the same pressure that I feel every year.  Why is it that everyone has to ask me ‘do you have your Christmas shopping done yet?’  I kind of feel like it’s peer pressure or maybe society pressure to buy gifts!  Shouldn’t we just buy gifts because we want to?  Is it less than Christmas if we DON‘T buy gifts??  I know if I don’t buy gifts, I will feel guilty.  Such a stupid reason to buy gifts!!  Sorry, but it frustrates me every year.  Too many people have forgotten what the real meaning of Christmas is.  I believe God sent His son to show us His amazing love for us and He expects us to show it to others.  That is what Christmas is ... Love! Not gifts!
