As for child maintenance, he has 3 children, although he acts as though he only has 2, third one has disowned his father after a heated argument.  Dad seems very happy with this, although he will still have to pay for the 3 kids.  Not backing down on that one.

Still no letter in the post from my solicitor, with a counter offer, fustrating or what. Can’t keep nagging her as it costs money everytime i ring and its cost enough already.

oh well maybe tomorrow i will get something in the post, until then i will just keep hoping that things will get sorted soon.

Until next time bye for now

    • Divorce = YUCK! Been there and can tell you to NOT to count on him for anything ever. Even after decreed!!!! Move on and truly get your own life but know that there is ups and downs and will continue to be. They just eventually become more ups than downs when you stay in control of your life.

Don’t wait for the mailman today go out for a stroll and smile at everyone. Really it will lift you up estatic

    • Thanks Vikki, that is good advice. Yes i do need to get on with my life and not worry about what the solicitor will bring or if he is ever going to help support us.

I visited a friend after writing the blog and he made me laugh which i definately needed,

    • Helen,
I took my ex back to court, or attempted to. Cost me 3500 plus dollars and all I get is put off, by my own lawyer. Even had to sit in the office and be belittled by the office manager because she didn’t realize that I had paid in full. She, in a derogatory tone, told me that the office didn’t provide charity work. This went back and forth and when she realized that I was paid in full, she kept on insulting me by chastising me for becoming upset. Anyway, I still don’t get anything, less than fifty dollars a month for one child, and there was a 20000 discrepancy in our incomes at the time of the divorce. And, I was divorced without my being there just because everyone else showed up early and the judge had time to rule on the parenting plan. Long story longer, lol, please get on with life. This has eaten me alive and the only thing that has changed is me, more depressed, physically I’ll, and several other stress related ailments. Not worth it at all!!! Its hard, but Vikki is right, you have to be an active participant in your life. You decide everyday what you are going to focus your energy on. Choose you!

      Sonya

    • thank you Sonya for sharing that.

i have today received my letter from my solicitor to his solicitor, it was very blunt and to the point, think she is getting fed up with the pettiness of it all.

I have thankfully been adviced from going to court due to the cost.  Im having to pay for my divorce as im not entitled to aid.  I work part time and have 3 teenager so money is very tight, and paying for the solicitor is hard enough, im now  in debt because of it.

I know that all the expense and heart ache, endless tears and anger will be worth it, just to be happy and start enjoying my life again.

Thank you for your words of encouragement x
