Busy day here....Going to have Sunday Dinner tonight since my hubby is working tomorrow. Going to go shop at the Italian Market in South Philly right now to get stuff for that and Thanksgiving Dinner. I will start cooking Monday for Turkey day! Love this week every year!
I hope you all have a Fabulous Day!
Enjoy your weekend!

•‘re always such a ray of sunshine on here!  I wish i could look forward to the duties of Thanksgiving like you do.  Yes, i said “duties“ my eyes, it’s a job.

I’m working mad-crazy hours monday-wednesday and the last thing i can “look forward to” is a day of cooking and cleaning.

Huz and I were going to go shopping but he’s not feeling well...and laying on the couch moaning as i type.  The two youngest children are at a weekend retreat and our oldest just left for work.  It’s becoming more the “norm” to find huz and i on our own.  After all these years of looking forward to some relief of the constant demands of parenting, i’m feeling a little sad about it.

    • Ree! You‘re making me homesick for the mainland and anywhere, anywhere at all that I can find an Italian market.

When I go to California I always load my little Sicilian mom in the car and take her down to the Italian market we shopped in when I was little.

So, you‘re cooking starting on Monday? Wow, you are going to have such a wonderful feast. Can’t wait to hear about it.

Save me a piece of pie! Ok, have a piece of pie for me!
