I woke up  at 6:30 to a sick house. I felt horrible again, my husband worked all night but came home sick this morning and has to go back to work this evening. My daughter, Kelly, just called off work sick, my youngest son is home from school sick ( remember his friend from Georgia is here to spend the holiday weekend with us) My middle son, Dan, went to school sick becasue he is a football payer and the coach has no time for sick kids. Sickies, sickies, sickies.

Amongst the angst i felt from everyone being sick and realizing i have to do it ALL today ALONE, i found a total scene of inspiration. While looking out my bedroom window, i saw a peachy white pre sunrise sky, there was a dark pink link seperating that color from a pinkish whitish blue color that faded into the purple sky above. While watching this, i saw an explosion of orange with out any sound as a perfect fireball of a sun creeped up from the ground to light the entire sky up from a  yellowish pinky into a beautiful sky blue color. WOW!

I know i can get it all done today, the house cleaned, the last minute shopping for those few things i forgot, and the preparation of everything else that can be prepped today. If God can do THAT with the sunrise, i can surely make a meal in the name of Thanksgiving!
Have a great day ladies!

    • Hey Ladies,
Feeling better just like yesterday. I started the Z pac antibiotic from the doc. I know i have a sinus infection...i started to get dizzy...hoping to nip that in the bud. I know when that happens i lose my appetite and taste. If i cannot tatse after all this work...lol....i will not be a happy camper! I just got back from finishing shopping. I dropped Ryan and his friend off at a local pizza parlor...there are like 50 kids there and they all wanted to see their friend that is up from Georgia, Davonte is his name...( i will call him that from now in instead of the kid from Georgia...LOL) Anyway...Ryan is feeling better. I drove past the high school and saw Danny running out onto the practice field so i guess he is sucking it up too. Kelly is still lying on the couch though...right next to me right now. She is not feeling great. Anyway...going to go start my pies.....i will be back later. Thanks for the well wishes!
      Friends,
      Ree

    • I am sorry to hear that you‘re not feeling well!  I know what that’s like at Holiday time!  There’s so much to do and you just don’t have the energy you normally have!

I find that if I just go lay down for about 20 minutes this helps.  I have sinus problems all year round, so I know how a sinus infection can get you down.  But, I find that just taking that little break helps.

Have fun baking your pies!  I am about to do the same soon.  My daughter is coming home from college tonight so we should have fun together!

Enjoy a cup of tea!  It might help!
