The H1N1 Swine Flu vaccine arrives next week, and you can be sure there’s going to be a huge government push and media blitz to scare all of us into vaccinating ourselves and our loved ones.
Even if you believe in vaccines in general, I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch an interview with an infectious disease specialist, a medical doctor who says no to H1N1
vaccines.
Better to be able to make an informed choice. What will you do?

Nope for me and my children. I don’t even get the regular flu vaccine. I pretty much decided that before I have watched the video. I have my own beliefs about vaccines as a whole, but with as many medical issues that I have I am not inclined to introduce anything else into my body.
I do hope, however, that those who do receive it will not be adversely effected.
I know a local lady whose grandson is autistic...and she is very much against vaccines. She firmly believes that vaccines can cause autism in children. She also stated that she would never get the flu shot especially not the H1N1. She added that enough research has not been done on this particular vaccine. This lady is a HUGE ADOVCATE for Austism and marches regular in Washington and is on top of all research and legislation. That is how she feels on the subject.

Here in NY they‘re trying to force health care workers to get the vaccine. I think that’s ridiculous. I work with doctors and nurses and hope they have enough good sense to stay home if they‘re sick. Already coworkers around my cubicle are coughing, sneezing, sniffling and snotting. I will just drink my daily glass of Vitamin C and wash my hands a lot. If there’s a vaccine I will get it’ll be the one for pneumonia; which I’ve had before and because of that I’m susceptible to get again.
I haven’t decided yet. I hate getting flu shots as they always leave my arm sore for a week, yet I would kick myself if i got the swine flu when I could have prevented it. Aren’t we also supposed to be worried about the avian flu?
My husband I are on opposing sides on this. I don’t get the shot and haven’t had the flu since I started cleansing regularly. He gets the shot...and doesn’t get the flu. We argue about whether my 5yr old son should get it or not. I say no...he is healthy and my husband says yes.
Its a tough one....
