Today has been a rough day for me. I went to the Dr. to find out why I am so sick when I am so young. I was put through a battery of tests, and I still have more to go. I have been experiencing times when I have no energy what so ever, when all I want to do is sleep, plus losing my hair. I am too young for this; I have the rest of my life to go at least 40 more yrs. It is very complicating on me; I just don’t understand why the Dr.s can’t find out what is wrong with me. Why did I have to travel all this way for what seems to be the same old tests.

    • Hi and I am so sorry that you are having such an awful time. We all fall into the trap of taking our health for granted until it goes and then wow, does it hit us.

I hope you can find out soon. As someone who has worked with medics for many years I know how difficult it can be to get a straight answer; they hate saying they don’t know. And you can begin to feel like they don’t actually believe you as well. Although you clearly have some very distressing physical symptoms so hopefully that isn’t the case with you.

I am sure you have tried all sorts of ways to improve your health like good diet and supplements. At least they are not telling you bad news, which is one way of looking at it, I guess. I have used kinesiology with some success when all else was failing. I think as much as anything it felt like it was giving me back a bit of control, which is one of the most difficult things when we don’t know what’s happening.

I wish you well in your quest for good health. Keep on, you will get there in the end. Take as much care of yourself as you can at the moment, doing what your body is telling it needs.Try to do as many things as you are able which nourish you spiritually and make you feel good, and don’t forget the support of friends.

Women need friends as being with our women friends releases oxytocin, the bonding hormone and helps us deal with stress better. Yet, ironically, when we feel low and stressed we can shut ourselves away, or not have the energy to go to events, catch up with people etc.

I hope you have some good friends to help you through and help you to have a laugh or at the very least a smile now and again!

My favourite saying comes from 1st Century BC, a stoic philosopher Epictetus. he said, ” We are not touched so much by life’s events themselves, but by the view we choose to take of them.” It has always helped me when the going is tough.

    • Hello,
my sister is 43 and she has the same hairloss problem. She tested for iron in her blood, she has low ferratin count.

I had it when I was 32 and found out I had a thyroid condition. Maybe you have already been tested for both things but i just thought I´d mention it to you anyway.
The doctors will find out eventually , just don´t give in to low spirits, go out, take long walks, breathe in and out and think to yourself that you will soon be healthy again.

    • I saw your question regarding life support and came over to check out your profile. I lost a child when he was 4 1/2 weeks old.
Anyway - regarding health and hair loss.... if you are interested in something natural that has helped me and my mom let me know and I can share some more information.

      Sharing Hope,

      Dee Dee
