I posted a video from our Haiti trip yesterday.  There is more about it on my other blog sironacaresblog.com, but I thought you guys might like to see the beautiful kids.  Not nearly enough time to see them all, I met about 600, but I put in as many memories as I could.

Enjoy!

    • Michelle, I just went to your blog. Through my tears falling into my coffee cup as I watched your slide show I have to say you’ve changed my perspective today. I was in awe of those sweet beautiful faces. Watching it made me immediately google Haiti to educate myself on that country. I’m looking forward to learning more and regularly reading your blog. What incredible work you and your group are doing.

    • Michelle, I just visited your sionacaresblog and all I can say is Thank you.  My family is of haitian descent, and it is as you say, Haiti is a country of contradictions. Haitian people, although constantly meeting with adversity, still find time to laugh and dance and sing. As with any culture, the children are its future. But the hardships that this island country faces, can not be denied, and it is thanks to people like you and your husband that perhaps one day Haiti will succeed once again.  I will visit your blog often.
I learned something as well. I had never heard of Jathropa.

    • Michelle,

I visited your site and the village and orphanage you ministered to is one that I have not seen. Tell me, how long were you there and how often do you try to go. My next missionary trip is March 2, 2009
