Tomorrow is Halloween.  As I mentioned we're taking the boys to the mall to reap the rewards of their cute costumes (Dylan, 2-3/4, will be Capt. Hook & Aidan, 1-3/4, will be Peter Pan).  While Grandpa goes off with Uncle Adam and Auntie Sam to a Clippers game, I'll bring the boys home and we'll make ourselves this spooky menu for dinner:

 CAT DIPPERS WITH PUMPKIN HUMMUS

This is so easy you'll laugh-you'll need a cat cookie cutter
1 pkg of crescent rolls-gently press seams together (kids love this) and use cookie cutter to make shapes.  Bake as usual.

While they bake and cool.  Either make some hummus or buy some and add just a couple of spoonfuls of pumpkin to it.
If the kids are of the "veggie eating kind"-lightly steam the veggies and let them dip them and the "cats".

Broomstick Pizza

Again, really easy and what kid doesn't like pizza?  I'm going to have more of the veggies and I'll use some non-dairy cheese on some for me.

1 pkg refrigerated pizza dough or BREAD STICKS

Pre-heat oven to recommended temperature and prepare pans
Have kids roll dough and let them shape into their own personal "brooms".  I find cutting them in strips or just using the bread sticks cut in small pieces works for the little ones.  1 jar spaghetti sauce and toppings of the kids' choice.  Dylan and Aidan love chicken and corn and of course mozzarella.   Let the kids have fun decorating their brooms and bake according to pkg directions.

I find putting a little bit of corn flour on the bottom of the sheet pan keeps them from sticking and gives a nice crunch.

For dessert-what else?  The boys get to pick out a piece of their "loot"
