I really love this quote by Ann Curry. DO you feel like you have earned your beauty? What exactly is beauty?
Neicy asked a question on here about the definition of yourself.Neicy's question Do you think beauty is part of your definition?
It took me so long to finally feel comfortable in my skin and this quote says it perfectly. I have earned the right to look the way I do. My experiences whether they be happy or not have brought me to this point in life.
I almost wish that I understood this when I was younger. But I don’t think I would be the woman I am today if I did.
How about you?
Well.... I think there’s the inside beauty that out ranks the outside beauty. If we don’t have it inside, what does it count we look pretty to others on the outside? And I appreciate that there are famous women who speak up, because I don’t think risking our life to be pretty and younger looking is a healthy view of living life.

I definitely think of myself as being beautiful inside and out and when it comes to makeup it doesn’t make one beautiful in my opinion it only enhances what you truly already have just because one adds makeup to their face doesn’t make them any more beautiful on the inside if their spirit isn’t right. You have to know that you are beautiful no matter what another person may think of you, but in order for others to label you as beautiful you must and should show it within your spirit and whatever is in you will radiate outside of you. But I think all my sister here on Fab40 are beautiful.
I’m glad I can consider myself beautiful on the inside. As time takes its toll on my exterior I want that little glimmer or spark in my eyes to show my beauty from the inside out.
