OK, I’ve arrived at the over 40 page and wonder why I suddenly realized I’m 50....
As silly as I’ve been all of my life, I feel like I’m losing ground and becoming a realist.
Although being a realist is facing reality, I don’t want to lose my humor.
Too many things have transpired over the last few years and I have changed. I guess it’s time to find the new me in this new era of my life.
I can only ask this: What do I do to feel needed when everyone that needed me doesn’t?
Hmmmmm...........?????
Is this the transition time? Time to relax while waiting for generation # 3 to arrive so I can babysit?

Oh well, I wish I had the money to travel s bit, I’d do it now.

(I’m a new “empty nester“) It is a bit of an adjustment to say the least. Have some YOU time & have some fun with it.

    • The grass is always greener. :) But grass is grass, right? Enjoy what is before you, and remember how short the seasons of life are. My first fledglings are in the world, and I’ll still have nestling for the next 17 years. There will be no ME gap - so I am making one! :) These are truly the best years of our lives! You don’t have to travel to find or rediscover the things you love to do.

    • Oh you have come to the right place. These ladies are rich with ideas, encouragement, humor and love.

There are many things you can do with your gifts. Perhaps you can crochette something for the newborns at a hospital near you or lap shawls for a nursing home, maybe you can read to someone that has lost their sight. (Just glanced at your interests). Or maybe you work 50+ hours a week and don’t have much time, but I have found there are more needs in the world than I have capacity to fill.

Don’t ever lose your sense of humor, if we can’t laugh about it world will be a very sad place.

Surround yourself with people that are positive, find those new hobbies that challenge you and inspire you and don’t ever forget that
