Did I read somewhere that insomnia was a part of peri-menopause? I could contribute it to my addiction to Fabulously40, or even the fact that my bed is cold and empty. I sleep well once I get there, but dragging myself there isn’t easy.
Hopefully next week will be different. My honey is coming home (don’t ask how much the flight was!) on Thursday. And his new company has been nice enough to give him two extra days at the end of the year, so he can be home for a whole week.
It is funny. We talked tonight, and he says he's miserable because he is worried about me. ha I told him he was making me miserable because he is miserable. He is afraid that I'll get my panties in a wad if he appears to be enjoying himself. Aren't men funny sometimes? :) Btw, that was my way of putting it, not his. I tried to help him understand that I am fine but I am worried about him. I tell myself that I am fine everyday. If you hear something often enough, you believe it,and then it becomes your reality. Did you know that? It is true!

I wasn’t sure just how I’d handle being a single parent, but we are making it. If we are still here 6 months from now, I might not be able to continue to convince myself, but for now... today.... life is good. I’ll just keep telling myself. :)

    • Thanks Tracy. I don’t know how either to be honest. LOL I tell people it is like juggling, you just start with one ball, and then add more when you can keep that one in the air. I think I have hit my max. :)
When I am feeling inadequate, I tell myself - in my weakness He is strong. And I remember the verse that says that God will never give us more than we can handle. I question that sometimes, but I’m still here so I guess God knows my limits better than I do.

    • Maybe during the time you two are apart, you’ll invent a bunchless panty and then you’ll have tons of money and never have to worry about being apart again.

    • btw, I tried to correct the misplaced bold type. It is formatted correctly with astericks around the right words, so I don’t know what’s up with that.

    • Lu, you crack me up! Speaking of... My SIL put in a request (to my mom) for some ‘wedgie-free’ Haines undies. My bet is, they are no different... just that it was a good marketing ploy. It made me laugh when my mom told me, and I am laughing now. Kind of like marketing water as carb free! I have seen it on bottles - honestly I have!

    • (fixed your (BOLD) issue) LOL

I think this is the time for you guys to discover SKYPE, like every night....

It’s so much easier when you see each other at least once a day.

My husband travels all the time. In fact I’m like a single mother with no privileges of going out LOL, I know it can be hard, but we are always on a honeymoon.

Like you said DeeDee, if you say it often enough, you’ll believe it.

    • Thanks Yana. I’ll tell him what you said about the honeymoon. :) Maybe that will cheer him up!

Thanks for fixing the bold issue. I’ll have to look at the formatting and see what you did. I guess I must be sleepy.
