Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Super Bowl party-if you celebrate.  We missed the entire event.  We were on the road back from our whirlwind business trip to Vegas, for me to re-connect with my best friend from middle/high school and some birthday celebrations for our grandkids.

Must say-I’m exhausted.  And to top it off-first thing this morning, hubby was off to one of his stores in Yana’s neck of the woods to hold a class and I had a much needed appointment with the rheumy.

Nevermind-it’s now Valentine’s Week!  What are you all doing for this romantic day?

Usually I like to make my husband’s favorite steak and potato meal and make some decadent chocolate brownie with red heart candies-but honestly, I don’t think he needs anymore items that even have red hints at all!

The boss invited us to dinner the first night-at a CRAB RESTAURANT-and my husband ordered the 16 oz top sirloin!  And we just won’t discuss the rest of the week.

I managed to come home, get on the doctor’s scale and find that it wasn’t my imagination (thank you!) and that I really have lost those 8 pounds of prednisone bloat!!  woo hoo!!  But hubby really had fun-let’s leave it at that.

We‘re also going to a matinee of a musical Sunday-so we’ll probably just grab a later brunch and have something simple when we get home.

But on Friday-let’s talk about some romantic entrees and sides to serve alongside some chocolate dipped berries!

Love it

    • Well time to rest....right!.....that never happens for me after a trip!

I would love to hear about some romantic entrees..... however for me Valentines also coincides with the Daytona 500. So coney dogs and nachos and beer.........
