Hello my fabulous ladies!

This is going to be an unusual column (and yes, I am noticing I’m a couple of days early).

Leave it to me to NOT realize that as soon as I came home late last night, I was NOT going to make Wednesday’s column!

My mom is having gall bladder surgery tomorrow and I will be staying at her home for a few days.  My parents are even less tech savvy than I am-no computer in sight.

While my hubby and I dined at all 4 specialty restaurants and loved our Aquaclass restaurant Blu (only healthy and organic on vacation for me-even on vacation!), I am really not able to think about recipes and food right now.

I know what you‘re all thinking-Carine/what’s cooking over ate.  Nope, not one drop, I left that to my better half.  Whom, by his own admission, barely fits into his pants!  Me, I power-walked 3 miles a day on the jogging trail, used only the stairs and we walked at all our ports-a lot.  I averaged 7.4 miles a day.  Not bad for an arthritic, lame-footed 51 year old.

I also continued my “just say no” to things I really didn’t need.

I came home 1.3 pounds less than when I left.

And now, since I’m still “swaying” to the motion of the Caribbean.  I bid you a fond adieu, until Sunday!
