It’s true my work is never done, but I can stop it, momentarily. I enjoy a smile from a child, a hug from a mother mostly mine but since she’s so far away I’ll take one from another. I can cook a meal in an hour or less and yes, of course it’s good.

I can wash a load of clothes, dance to the music, turned up loud and mop the floor. I can do this and so much more but best of all I can stop whenever I want to.

    • Hugs are the warm fuzzies of life.  We are sometimes too busy to stop to truly enjoy one.  But, I think you‘re not like that.  You take time to relish!  That’s the big secret of life: the now.  Once I made a flow chart of my week’s activities.  By the time I finished the long list and figured out where my efforts were being spent, it was easy to spot the ones that could be avoided, put off, or erased.
