How to hear the Voice of God?

Tonight I heard an awesome message that bless me greatly. So I wanted to share it all.
THIS IS A HOW TO:
1. Develop a life of obedience.
2. We can improve our hearing by spending time in daily meditation.
3. Studying the Word of God daily
4. Fasting
5. Anticipating to hear from God is paramount

Why is so important to hear from God because hearing God voice directly will keep the Devil from attacking us and protect us against going in a wrong direction and walking away from our purpose and will keep us in his perfect will.
