Tonight at She Speaks To Inspire we’ll be talking with two wonderful men about relationships and women.  We’ll discuss the comments in a recent survey where women were asked to share what they want and need from a man.

Our guest, Paul Crawford is described by his friends as having a great sense of humor and a deep sense of compassion for others.

Paul is a Professional Speaker and has received awards with Toastmaster's International in the area of humorous speaking. Paul is a graduate of the University of West Florida with a BA in Criminal Justice and completed the Certified Public Manager's program through Florida State University. He is certified as a Holistic Life Coach through the Spencer Institute and certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer with the National Federation of Professional Trainers.
Paul gives back to the community while serving as a volunteer for the Guardian Ad Litem program by representing the interest of abused and neglected children during the court proceedings. He is a volunteer SHINE Counselor with the Department of Elder Affairs and assists seniors with various issues concerning Medicare.

Paul's life has not been without hardships, trials or personal crisis. His personal battle with alcohol and his road to recovery is an important part of his life's story. With a mix of humorous stories and examples of strong spiritual growth, Paul uses this dark time from his past to help others.

Paul also enjoyed a long and rewarding career with the Florida Department of Corrections.  Although he has fond memories and many friends from his career, the circumstances leading to his decision to retire from corrections left him with feelings of anger, resentment, and bitterness, which were some of his most difficult challenges to overcome. He resides with his wife, Dr. Stephanie Crawford and his four-year-old son Paul Crawford III, near the historic Suwannee River in Live Oak Florida.

Our second guest, Randy Beard, recently retired from Kappa Alpha Order, where he served as Associate Director for Chapter Services and traveled to KA chapters from Louisiana to Southern California.  He was recently awarded the Knight Commanders Accolade, which is a coveted award for service and leadership to the order, and he received the Distinguished Alumni of the Year award for the Beta Lambda Chapter of KA at SMU. Randy lives at Holly Lake Ranch near Tyler, Texas.

His most prestigious accomplishment began Sept 3, 1960 when he married my mother! He will join us to share the wisdom of his experience after being married for nearly 50 years!

I've also asked Daddy to reflect on his middle age years and share with us his best advice about how to increase a sense of purpose during our midlife years while decreasing the risk of mid-life crisis.

Please join and add your thoughts to the discussion as we brainstorm for relationship exercises that lift and inspire instead of depressing and threatening our most important relationships!
