If you're anything like me, you're always looking for ways to save time. In amongst planning a birthday party for 12 screaming children, you're probably trying to prepare for dinner with the in-laws on top of three deadlines looming over you. Oh and you're also feeling guilty about not volunteering enough at your childrens' school.

Time saving is one of the reasons why I love skin care products that do double duty. One of my long time favorites is La Roche Posay's [Link Removed] A staple in my cosmetics bag of tricks, Hydraphase UV is a moisturizer that doubles as a sunscreen with broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. On days when I'll be inside most of the time, it's a perfect solution to moisturize plus protect my skin from sun damage.

Hydraphase UV contains [Link Removed] a photostable (won't degrade when exposed to sun) UVA filter that is combined with titanium dioxide and octinoxate to deliver effective sun protection. It's also formulated with glycerin and sodium hyaluronate to help deliver much needed moisture and protect against moisture loss. It's ideal for normal to dry skin types. I've got all my friends hooked on this keeper.

This version of Hydraphase UV SPF 30 is only marketed in Canada. The version made for the US market doesn’t contain Mexoryl SX so you won’t be getting the same kind of protection. As well, the US verion lacks sodium hyaluronate, a very effective moisture binding complex.
