Of course I’m still writing, it’s what i do all day and sometimes into the night. I love the Internet and have since 1999. That was when I had my first computer built. I have loved it since. It never tires me or is too busy for me when I need it most. I can speak to old friends, new friends and family. I can rant-n-rave and it never disagrees or judges me. I had some work published before 1999 in magazines, anthology books, newspapers, but I can count those short stories and articles on both hands. With the computer I have more work published in one day than in the lifetime before. I am not real happy about those scammers that take advantage of my email or the entire Internet in general but overall, I’ve learned to sift out a lot of that. I also know that it affects others, this love relationship with the computer. I got my mom interested in the computer in 2002 and she is always online. (There are some things I wouldn’t share on FB mom) She is a true facebook fanatic.
My husband has only been interested in computer things for about 4 years but he is a die-hard craigslist examiner and newshound about whatever is most popular for the day. This makes my life much easier if the people I have to share the world with are into computer going-ons but not when I have to share my laptop. But I will to keep the peace and everyone happy. T
