I am a makeup artist so I had my cute litte apron on that I designed and wear every day (I had it made by my sweet friend, Mandy - [Link Removed]  shameless plug ) while I was shopping at WALMART.

Anyhow, I guess this woman thought I was a Walmart employee and walked right up to me without a greeting and just started yaking and complaining about the store (they‘re undergoing a remodel), the heat, the confusion about where everything is... yadiyadi.  I let her go for about a minute (that’s a long time!) knowing that in a moment, I’d tell her that I was “just a shopper” and get her to quit, but that never happened:  The woman wouldn’t shut up and finnally concluded her rant with smart-butt look and,

“H E L L OOOOOO, are you going to answer me!?“, my reply was a simple, “Nope” and I walked away.

this woman then decided she was going to folow me and as she approached me she “went off” and repeated herself, but this time much louder and at a volume that others could hear!  My GOD, she was IN CONTROL and DEMANDED to speak to my manager!

About that time, a store supervisor approached and asked, “Is there something I can assist you with?“...

Okay, I know what you‘re thinking:  Whay didn’t I speak up!??!  Honest to GOD, I just HAD to see how far this woman would go... I just HAD TO!

After a couple more minutes of her yaking and rude, condescending (s/p?) speak, her tude, her pushy, silly any name that you can think of yelp had run out of fuel, the store supervisor actually said this (I’m quoting as best as I can- this is TRUE):

“Ma’m, I’m still not quite sure why you‘re so upset, but this young lady (I love that part) is NOT an employee; she is apparently a shopper, just like you, and has nothing to do with our problems, our remodel, our  anything.  Quite frankly, I am in disbelief over how you spoke to this woman and given the fact that ALL Walmart patrons are equally important (I just came in for floss!), I must insist that you apologize.

SHOCK.

So wadda ya think? Do you think she apologized??  Whomever guesses right the first time, gets a FREE Instant Tanner (it’s super neat - made with walnut hulls so the color is fabulous!).  Retail Value is $25

First one gets it!

Hugs, kelly

    • Oh My Gosh!I cannot believe anyone would treat anyone else in such a blatantly disrespectful way, regardless of the circumstances!

My guess is NO, she did not apologize. Someone that arrogant would probably believe she was justified in her behavior. However, as much as I would like to win the sunless tanner, I hope I am wrong!

Kelly, here’s a Big Hug ((()))!!! You deserve it!

    • I’m going to go out on a limp and say yes. But it was probably only a half hearted apology. Most likely she also had a comment about why you didn’t stop her. LOL

    • Wow.  That has to rate as the shopping trip to hell.  I would have said Excuse Me as soon as she started yapping.

    • i love that you let this situation run it’s course IN HER FACE.  I’m going to remember this story and hope for one of these occasions, myself!  LOL

I’m figuring she did not apologize.  Based on her behavior, social graces are not her strong suit.

    • Doreen hit the nail on the head EXACTLY (Termite, you were close)  She looked at me like I had a lobster coming out of my eye and then apologized with a simple, “Oh, I’m sorry“.

She pushed her cart to the side and walked out the door. end of story.

      NO DRAMA!, Darn it.

Doreen! Send me your address and I'll send you your love prize.

I WAS “with” the rest of you!  I just Knew, Knew, Knew she was NOT NOT going to apologize!  But she did... how unexpected was that?

I love you all - I’m sorry I’ve been off-line but I’m taking my mom to radiation for a couple months - 5X a week, yikes.. a whole ‘nuther story.

Hugs and blessings my friends!  Doreen - don’t forget to email me directly:  Kelly@CelebrityLipstick.com

    • Such a great story! Society is full of poopie heads like the one you encountered, if you HAD responded, she would have continued the rant anyway.  Surprised like everyone else that she apologized, I would love to have been inside her head at that moment to see what she was thinking! obviously embarassment since she left the store.

      Positive thoughts to your Mom.
