I am now older than I was last year this time. I am doing what I want and it feels so good that I guess I’m doing what I love. All together I’m doing and that’s alot more than some people.

  I am going to college, this late in the game of life which makes me a non traditional student. All my life I have been active. When my children were young I coached sports of every kind so that my children and I would be close. When the boys played football, I coached and their sister was a cheerleader. When the boys played baseball, I coached and their sister kept the books or worked the concession stand. Then they grew up. I could no longer coach. I felt useless.

   I started hanging out at the gym and one thing led to another and before I knew it I was teaching water aerobics. So now I’m going to college in pursuit of an Associates Degree in Kinesiology (a fancy word for fitness). It’s going to take me more than the 2 years as I must work full-time. I work at the Health Dept. and I am bilingual in Spanish so everyday I am still doing what I love, serving Christ by serving others with the gifts and talents I have been anointed with.
