As I sit here with my new treasures (Laura Geller (sp) makeup)..I am wondering..why makeup?

I really don’t wear it often, get compliments when I do (so do I really look THAT  bad without it on?)

Why is makeup so important to others and not to all?

Are we doing it for us or the impression of others of us?

I buy the Laura Geller stuff-cause I am a sucker for infomercials....and cause I like how I look with makeup on-BUT- I am happier not wearing any..I guess it would be like men shaving, they look better cleaned up-but it’s a pain the the arse to do it everyday..well at least for me - I view it as a challenge look in the mirror and put a face on....

Is there some deep seated self loathing that makes me dare the world to judge me for not wearing any - in this makeup induced society?

Is is the last thumb across the   nose to my mother who always dressed and make-up’d everyday?

The debate I sit here in    tongue out

Love it
