Is Yoga the Path to God?
Before I discuss this further, let me define what yoga means for me. Yoga to me is about experiencing, going beyond the mind and body. The preconceive notion given by the society is that, one who practices yoga can reap added health benefit; and, there is no doubt the there are benefits of doing yoga, there is ample info that shows this. But, to me this notion is not the ultimate truth. Yoga to me is something beyond, which I hope to learn and share with everyone over my blogging experience. Now to establish the argument, if one can reach God practicing Yoga, the answer to this is Yes, and No. Why? Osho and Patanjali make the similar argument that when a person practices yoga, then one moves from a chaotic state of mind to no state of mind. (i.e., detachment from all thoughts) God is just an instrument to reach the path of yoga or the  ultimate truth, and not the opposite. Our belief is what drives us to  surrender to god, if you don’t believe, there is no god, if you believe there is god. Those who believe and those who don’t believe in god, both are attached to one concept of ‘belief‘, but Patanjali says “one  mustn’t be concern with what we believe but, be concern with ourselves, what’s beyond our mind“. The only way to reach Yoga is to discard what one has in there mind, it’s not relevant. Free yourself, open your mind, you will find what you are looking for, there is no need to visit any commune for spiritually. Everyone of us has what Osho calls ‘godlessness’ but no god, because god a belief not the truth. I salute Osho for his discourses on yoga. I hope this post about yoga info was informative. I am open to discussion, so please comment!

Next post coming soon is entitled “Are you ready to learn yoga“?
