Is your leather in a lather?

Easy tips for great leather care.

With change of season, now is the time to take stock of all your precious leather goods. After summer's heatwaves and humidity, it is easy for your bags, shoes and jackets to end up feeling neglected. Treat your prized possessions with the care they deserve to keep them looking their best year after year.

For Smooth & Printed Leather
Use a good quality conditioner which will clean and nourish leather in one simple application.

For Suede & Nubuck
Opt for a suede and nubuck cleaning block or brush to remove stubborn marks. Follow up with a waterproofing spray for essential protection against the elements.

For Patent Leather
A good quality patent dressing will keep this leather clean, shiny and supple.

Remember to test any leather care products on a small area before applying and follow instructions carefully.

If you'd prefer the professional touch, leather care specialists can clean, condition and rejuvenate.

Especially for Handbags
•When not in use always store in the dust cover provided.
•When storing, stuff the bag with plain paper/tissue to prevent creases in leather.
•Keep moisture away from your bag. Use silica gel sachets where possible.
•Never place your bag on the floor when you are out. Use a handbag hook or place on your lap or chair to minimise germs.
•Save wear and tear on you and your handbag by not overloading it. 3kgs is way too much!
•Some stains and scuff marks can be removed with a gentle rub using a clean pencil eraser.
•Ink and leather don't mix. Always retract your pen or replace cap before storing in your bag.
