It is really all about MATH. If you burn more calories in the day than you eat you will loose weight. BUT you need to eat enough or your body will go into starvation mode NOT to mention you will cheat! Many people cut out to many calories and increase exercise and your body gets mad. With the exercise I am usually eating around 1600 - 1700 calories.

1. Access Shake before Exercise
2. Breakfast
3. Piece of fruit or a snack from the 100 calorie list
4. Lunch - pick from the list
5. Snack ( attain bar or fiber bar )or from the 100 calorie list
6. Dinner
7. Snack ( keeping it real - be smart but even a glass of wine or a beer can count)

My biggest education was writing down what I ate, just the calories. When you look at the block on any product it will tell you the calories. Did you know an 8 oz glass of orange juice has 120 calories - yikes and 0 calories in water.

    • Coralee when I started tracking my food intake it was such a surprise for to me. I definitely was not eating enough fruits n veggies and too many carbs.

      I can’t remember where I posted it but I had found a formula for caloric intake. WHen I did all the math I should be eating 1200 calories per day to burn 2 lbs of fat per week. But it seems I plateau when I do that....

    • 1200 calories is not enough if you are exercising.

    • Vikki your body goes into starvation mode when it is not getting enough calories - it basically holds on to stored fat as a measure of survival. I had a very hard time learning this but it is amazing how your body actually reacts when you give it the fuel it needs happy  

      In 2 months I took 4 inches off my hips and 4 inches off my waist by paying attention to what went in my mouth, making sure I was eating all day long, access shake to tap into the stored fat and the best vitamins on the market.
