It’s Focus on Fab week! Join us on Tuesday night and meet Kathryn Krastin. A volunteer advocate including Family Eldercare, Guardian ad Litem for Austin School, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Williamson County Crisis Center (now known as Hope Alliance), Victim Advocate volunteer for the Cedar Park Police Department, and now the National Domestic Violence Hotline. She says she is especially passionate about the Domestic Violence work so that others don’t have to travel down the road she’s been down. Kathryn enjoys calligraphy, painting, writing poetry, blogging, photography, and djing on the internet, among many others. She says the most fascinating hobby is DJing on SouthernXtremeRadio and playing country music 90% of the time, and 10% rock. Kathryn laughs that she found a pasttime niche at DJing at 50 years old, but says she loves it. Join us to learn about this life well lived—and the road from there to here. As you might expect there were some difficult parts of Kathryn’s journey. I’m inspired by her story!
