I am so tickled at myself and my latest accomplishment in the kitchen. My perception of baking is that it’s too complicated. So I started with something simple mainly because there was no bread in the cabinet.

  I made flour tortillas to go with my vegetables and tomato soup. The first batch was thin but good. The next day I used more flour and they were chewy, yeah! I’m on a roll now. Day three I remember I have a can of peaches in the cabinet and I’m thinking pie crust.

   I did it. The pie crust was now waiting for a filling. I opened the can of peaches, poured it into the saucepan and added more sugar, boiled it to crystallized state and poured it into the crust, baked it at 400 for about an hour. OMG, I out did myself and everybody ate my homemade dessert.

   I had all the ingredients in the house.
