Happy May everyone!

I love May-the weather is more good than bad, I know longer have to have a back-up for "just in case" our California skies decide to give us a bit of moisture or try to see the food on the grill in the evening "light".

May is also our busy birthday month.  Our daughter is a May Day baby, my sister-in-law’s the very next day.  Following that is my brother-in-law's, my nephew, son-in-law, his mother and my dad.  The week before our daughter is our son's birthday.  Plus we need to throw in Mother's Day and my sister-in-law's anniversary.

So we do a lot of cards.  I held a dinner last week for our son-we've covered that.  We did give our daughter and son-in-law their cards and gifts, but they'll be over sometime this weekend, and I'm sure well do something again.

We'll do everyone else at a Mother's Day thing-probably we'll pick up some bagels, lox and such and go to my mom's since she's just getting her strength back and can't drive.

While I love to try new recipes and cook-lately, health has seen me using more of my creativity than my physical skills-and believe me, I'm fine with that.

Speaking of which-I want to announce that from now on, I'm going to be posting my columns on Monday and Thursday.  So I'm not late today-just shaking up the schedule.

Working at home is terrific, but since my husband is also home on the weekends, I'm going to keep my own hours as being Monday through Friday as well.

Now on Thursday-I'm going to share an unusual recipe for biscuits from one of our very own fab40 sisters-MyLady.
