I don’t really know where to begin, I’m new to Fab 40.  I joined this site to look, listen, and learn.  I’d hope to meet some fabulous people whom I could befriend; so far the ladies I’ve befriended are really nice.  I’ve read some interesting blogs on here and thought I should write my feelings down as well.
Being divorced (again) has really taken its toll on me.  I feel so emptied inside. I want to feel, just feel...  I have merged myself in different Ministries in my church, which I really enjoy, but I still feel a void. Sometimes I feel I have no one to turn to, except God of course.  I miss my mom and dad (both whom are deceased). I was so close to them and now my heart has a giant hole in it and I don’t know how to fill it. I’m so lonely and I long for companionship and deep rooted, real friendship.

    • Hi there and welcome to fab40. I know how you feel, the emptiness and loneliness that comes from divorce and of course not having your parents for support. I’ve also got a few divorces behind me...oh and I have 3 boys, 24, 14 and 13. Stick around, there are so many wonderful women here and you will make many friends. estatic

    • Hello,
All will be well as long as you pray without ceasing n keep the faith. Of the ministries in which u r active, aren’t there any other women that u could bond with? I was told by our First Lady, to write down what u want, put it in the Bible n leave it there. I did it and forgot about the list. I happened to look back from time to time and I got everything I put on the list. Well, not the soulmate yet. I’m kind of nervous about that because I’m so used to doing what I want n going where I want when i want. I know it sounds selfish, but I’m used to being independent for as far back as I could remember. I have a son who I take just about everywhere I go since he was born. I do that because at this time I can. There’s not too many kids in the neighborhood that has traveled as much as my son has. I was in a relationship, but it didn’t last. Trying to live life right, you know. Can’t have an uneven yoke as the Bible says. Sometimes I feel lonely, but I’m active in a Sorority. I attend events and meet others in Sororities n fraternities and I’m contentestatic Keep praying for what u want n the Lord will give it to u in His time.
