Everything falls apart. worried You think you have money saved In the bank and then BAM!  things start falling apart or breaking down. It’s like your not allowed to have money saved or get caught up with bills cause It just doesn’t happen.frown

First we have leakes In our roof which we finally got money to pay for to get that fixed, so the roofers are suppose to be here on Thur or Fri to start. Well now my hubby smelled a gas leak on the side of our house, so I called the gas company to come and check and make sure If we did or not. Sure enough we do, so he turned off all the gas. Mind you I haven’t eaten anything yet, I got a headache and I can’t even shower cause I didn’t think all this would really happen.

The gas man said I need to call a plumber (thinking to myself) Great! there goes more money. I had no Idea a plumber had anything to do with gas leaks, this Is new to me. So the plumbers here checking things out and I am pretty sure It’s going to cost alot more money to get whatever needs fixing fixed!

I don’t even want to think about It as I already have a headache and I’m hungry!frown

Not sure If we should let the roofers start on our roof this week now or tell them to start next week. My hubbys on his way home and will know more In awhile.

I just needed to vent, so please bare with me. Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog.

    • Frannie you hardly ever blog so when I saw your name I knew something had to be important! It really stinks when we work so hard, saving for either a rainy day or (heaven forbid) something fun and the money gets eaten up by either a car repair, a home repair, a doctor bill..... you get the idea. I’m so sorry this is going on! I hope everything gets fixed in short order and without too much cost (keep an eye on that plumber, they‘re expensive!)

I’ll be sending good thoughts your way!

    • Linda.... yes your right, I of course feel bad for those who have no homes or lost their homes, who wouldnt? But when a problem comes up with your own home and you start to worry about It,  then I am going to worry, It’s just My reflexes acting up...LOL, you know what I mean? So as you reminded me that others do have It worse, yes I feel bad for them but thats not going to stop me from worrying about my situation, but your right, I don’t feel as bad when I think about It and thank you for your kind wordshappyhappy I do appriciate them.

Cynthia.....Thank you for your comment. Hubby came right home when I called him and he was here with the plumber. They figured everything out and It’s going to be alright. I will PM you and tell ya all about It.  I was freaking out.

    • Hey, believe me I know, we have three homes that are falling apart, that we need to sell because of the divorce and because he used up all our assets while he didn’t work and we have money going out that we don’t have. That’s why I keep reminding myself of what could be, but yes, if you‘re normal you will worry and fret, it’s just how we‘re made.  Sucks though doesn’t it!!!

    • Well fran, it’s all relative. When it is happening to you it is the worse thing at that moment. So you have all the right to be upset and worry.

We had a gas leak once and the gas company took care of it for free. So, call and ask them why the plumber is needed, sounds fishy to me.

It sucks when you get all saved up and then bam, something goes wrong. Murphy’s ‘stupid’ Law!! lol

      Sending good thoughts your way!!!

Yeah I was very lost when he told me I had to call a plumber. It was all new to me. Hubby was at work at the time, I wish he had been there when the gas man was there.

Yeah, Murphy’s Law Is Stupid...lol, your absolutly correct.
Thank you for your comment and good thoughts.heart

    • I agree with all of the wonderful advice above. I think that you should check with the gas company as well.

Count your blessings and just know without a doubt that you wll have the money when you need it.

I recently had a week when everything was thrown at me. I had car problems, my Mom was in the hospital and I found a  lump in my breast. Within a week, everything turned out.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, but I know everything will work out.

Then I think we have so many good things in our life and the bad stuff we’ll get through it and we have. I’ve learned get angry if you have to and let it go and take care of what needs to be done and move on. Hang in there!happy

We can finally start catching up maybe...Enter Bill (our Black Lab) center stage.  It happened like 3 times in that year where we would just have our noses above water and then a trip to the vet.  One of those times he got into some weeds that caused his privates to swell!  One time he started limping for no apparent cause.  Since then if we ever get a little ahead we make a joke and say: Ssshhh don’t tell Bill!
