We’ve all heard the expression “kids say the darndest things,” My oldest son is about to become a father this June. I was having dinner with him and his wife the other day and the topic came up in conversation.

My two sons are 7 years apart in age. When I had my youngest son baptized my oldest son, who was 8 at the time, asked...” Mommy have I ever been Bat-ma-tized?”

He must have been watching too many Batman movies at the time.

What funny or embarracing things did your children say or do that are most memoriable to you?

    • So cute!!

My daughter took my 3 year old grandson to his first movie and she wasn’t prepared to pay the child admission, which was $8.00 even though he would be sitting on her lap the whole time. 2 years and under was free. So she fibbed and said my grandson was 2.. as they are walking in, Dylan pipes up and says ” Mommy, I not 2.. I freeee” meaning Three!! LOL

    • I was grocery shopping with my oldest son AJ. He was about 3 or 4 at the time. There was a man of Asian heritage in line in front of us. In his loudest little boy voice, while pointing his finger, my son asked me “Mom, is that a Chinese person“! I kept begging that darn floor to open and swallow me whole!
