Two lessons learned yesterday, well let me tell you a short story.....

My daughter and I stepped out just for a few so she decided to just throw on her furry boots with her shorts and a sweat jacket, she thought it was funny, yeah we laughed. (it was about 45 degrees and flurries)

Don't try to guess, just stay with me...LOL

Anyway, on the way back home I thought I would run into Drug Mart and grabs some bread, so I parked and jumped out thinking she wasn’t going in, but then I heard the car door shut and turned to late to see she had got out of the car also....bad news, purse, keys, phones all in the car, locked up!

We stood there in amazement.  We couldn’t call anybody because we don’t know their numbers by heart, we didn’t have any money, except my debit card, the Police wouldn’t open our doors because it was not an emergency. No phone booth, and the store wouldn’t let us call long distance to call my mother to call somebody for us.

We were about 2.5 miles out from our house, it was getting dark, I had an extra key at home, without thinking we decided to walk home and ask the our neighbor to bring us back.

Cold Cold Cold, we did not feel our feet or ears or fingers anymore, people were lookin at my daughter in shorts and boots LOL.  I started itching beyond control (a condition I have when my body warms up too fast), I was crying and laughing, my daughter was frozen.

We made it, feeling stupid and we should have called a taxi.  Then my neighbor wasn’t home!!!!!!!!!!!OMG

Called my daughter who lives 20 minutes away. END OF STORY, as she laughed....

Lesson:  Learn phone numbers, don’t count on electronics
Lesson: Never leave keys in car for teenager to lesson to music
Lesson:  Always dress incase something stupid happens!
