Good Morning Fab40 family,

I woke up early this morning and signed on the site to read a few blogs written by other Fab40 members.  I read a blog by a member that is struggling with an illness and I could hear all of the bitterness, hurt and pain that she is currently going through at this time through her writing.

I racked my brain trying to think of the right words to say, the best message to leave on her page, the right bible verse to give her for comfort....but I came up with NOTHING that seemed like the right fit.  I felt so sad for her so I found a nice little poem from the bible about love that I tried to post but as soon as I tried to upload anything to her page...the page kept closing!

So I went back to the drawing board and thought to myself.  What can I do or what can I say to help this person that is in pain?  Then I realized that perhaps the best thing I could do is pray for her.  Therefore, I took and minute and prayed.

I hope that we each take a little time this morning to offer a prayer of thanks and healing for each other.  Especially the women on this site that are currently struggling with emotional and/or physical pain and health challenges.

I personally believe that the power of prayer.  I also believe that the power of life and death is in the tongue.  I truly believe we can speak blessings over people.  I believe that we can send positive energy to people that helps with healing. I believe  we can change our  circumstances by changing the thoughts in our mind.  I really believe that prayer works because it does all of those things simutaneously. heartheartheart

Please pray for others this morning. It can be a simple 60 second minute prayer:

Dear Lord God,

I thank you for all of the women connected to this Fab40 site from all different walks of life, different beliefs, different opinions and different experiences. I pray that the spirit of love touches the lives of each and every one of us on Fab40. I pray that you bring comfort and divine healing to those members that are in pain. I pray that the broken-hearted feel comforted, that the sick are healed, and that those that doubt are given faith and hope! I pray that you reveal the fullness of God's love in the hearts of your people. Bless us to be a blessing to each other.

Amen!

    • @Eva thanks for the message.  I don’t consider myself religious either, however I consider myself a person of faith and a follower of Christ.  However, I believe that God is everywhere and in all of us!

    • I’m not religious either, but I am spiritually awake. I think offering words of kindness and acceptance to others in sincereity is sometimes better than a quote from the bible. Sorry,
but when things are tough for me I don’t want to be preached to, it is a personal issue of  it feeling distant to me. Pass me off to God who has more than enough to do! LOL
