Since losing my job last year I’ve been on a quest.  With the economy the way it is the the industry in my town being automotive it’s really put a damper on the job market.  I’ve spent the last 15 years working in part time administrative positions which was fine at the time because of the children and their ages, but....now that I’m unemployed I don’t want to just go work for minimum wage.  I want to start something that can be my own. Something that is fun and involves other women.  I can feel it.... At this point I’m doing a lot of research into different ideas.  Anyone??  Any thoughts...

    • Hello, I can so relate to your comments.  I also am unemployed and truly believe there is something bigger and better awaiting me.  My interests run toward helping others; women, children, animals - if I could figure that into a new career and calling, I’d be set.  During your research, has one ‘theme’ spoken to you more than another?

    • Good luck to your soul searching.  There are many things involved with us, fabulous women.  I think you may consider narrow down to a few so you can focus, in my humble opinion.

    • I’m interested in womens issues and love working with other people.  But I’d hate to pigeon hole myself because the right thing could come along and it just may pass me by.

    • Thanks for the idea.  Unfortunately the area I live in has been effected by the automotive industry down turn.  There are not many women that can afford those luxuries.  Wishing you all the sucess in your biz.
