Love at its finest, so purely portrayed;
Christmas, the fullness of blessing displayed.

Carols and music; who's written the score?
Children and carolers, stand at the door;

Mistletoe hanging in doorways, so bright;
Holiday baking, for all a delight;

Bright Christmas star, at the top of the tree;
Candles with sweet scents, give serenity.

New Christmas stockings, now filled to the brim,
Candy canes, tiny toys for her, or him.

Mystery, magic; from no one a peep;
Santa Claus waiting for children to sleep;

Church bells all ringing; what's that in the sky?
Strings of bright lights, strung on houses nearby;

Snow flakes are falling, all scattered around.
What was that patter? That's reindeer, the sound.

Footprints on roof tops, yes, Santa was here;
Soot from the chimney; there's nothing to fear.

Christ as an infant, the face of a child;
Peace for the moment, a world reconciled.

Reason to celebrate, gift from above;
Gifts from the givers, to others they love;

Family, friends, with their children, who play;
Dolls, toys and presents: a Yule holiday.

Feast on the table; yes, one family;
Love at its finest, such sweet reverie.
