I am new to Fab 40

As a new member I like to read the streams and then go to people's profiles and see "who they are" , read their blogs and such.

So I got to thinking. Maybe someone would want to know more about me.
I have a 21 y.o daughter and a 17 y.o son- I rarely see them even tho we all bathe and eat under the same roof.
I married my brothers best friend in 1986, his name is Darren.

I am an xray tech at an orthopedic office- I love it! It is the perfect job for me.
Lately they have been so busy that its plain wearing me out. Yesterday, a wittle tear came outa my wittle eye when I realized I still had 2 hours before I could go home and get some rest.
Getting a 7 wk old blue heeler last week prolly added to my fatigue- she is a pistol, we named her Abby. At night she cries cuz she doesnt like being in a kennel/ crate.  Although she is getting better at coping with it.

My husband is a Maintenance Controller for Alaska Airlines. He too loves his job. It is the job of his dreams and I know this because he talks about it or laughs about something in his sleep.  In his sleep he dreams about airplanes!

My emotional roller coaster- my daughter, I love her. But when I say my emotional roller coaster I mean the ride that she put me on that made me all emotional.... Shes fine. She loves her life.  It was hard to see some of her choices and how they evolved.
But if it wasn't for her I would never have reached this spiritual level that I am at right now.  And whats really odd is that saying "God doesn't give you a problem that he doesnt also give you the answer" (something like that)  Well it was my daughter that gave me the answer; with this stupid little Toltec book- called the Tree of Knowledge by don Miguel Ruiz.  But you know what? I read it and I loved that stupid little book.  Then I read another one of his books called the Mastery of Love.

I am at peace.  My depression is gone.

Every morning I study (I mean study) one or two pages from one of those books.  At first I read them both. (But now I am literally breaking them down and internalizing each one page by page.) Maybe its because I am an Aquarius, Maybe its because my life path # is a 7. But I find it refreshing!

And life is good.  (GOOD)

Silence is golden, duct tape is silver

    • Welcome Marilyn to Fab40!

Thx for the introduction and sharing of yourself. I always just thought it was GIRLS that are an emotional roller coast. Mine are soon to be 22 and 20 and life can be interesting at times....

I look forwards to getting to know you and chatting often.

    • So many changes since I wrote this.
      1. the most important to me is that my daughter is at peace. She will be a mature 23yo next month. She moved out with a roommate and she is just happy. and I am so happy for her.
      2. My son will be 19 in December. He graduated from high school!!! yay for him. Anyone that has a teen with ADHD can appreciate his hard work and dedication. (I however could have killed him- damn attention span; lol)
      3. Abby, our blue heeler is 1.5 years old now.
      4. We lost our house. We tried to get a loan modification. So we fell behind like we were told to, so that we would be considered. And they approved the loan modification. They took the (interest only) payments that we missed (because they wont even consider a interest modification unless we were behind) and added it to the balance of the loan increasing our monthly payment by $400/ mo.

Anyway.... looking back. We could not afford it in the first place. So what does it matter that we were betrayed, with the hope, they said that we deserved.

All is good now! And that is all that matters!

We found a cute place to rent! And we are happy.
