Love it

Just a thought? Today did you say to yourself “I love you” because you realized that you were beautiful. Did you stop and stare at your eyes today and admire the wisdom, sensuality and beauty they possess? Did you run your hand across you arm and notice how soft your skin is? Did you look at your hands with both of them in front of you and marvel at how much you have made it through? Did you stand straight up and feel your body moving in with the synchronization of gravity and will? Did you walk delicately everywhere you went today because you knew the weight of Gods Glory was heavy upon you? Did you wiggle your toes and whisper a pray thanking God for having the activity of all our limbs. Did you hold your arms out and slowly twirl around in the majesty of your creator as he watched you dance before him. Did you take care of your body and eat the right things for your body to do what it needs to do and did you finish the day by looking at yourself and saying “I love you“?  Love you better than anyone else can love you. Love you the way you want someone else to love you and love you like God loves you because you are BEAUTIFUL and you need to know and believe it.
Blessings

    • That is awesome ladies! Don’t forget to treat yourselves special everyday because you are and because you deserve it. I find that when I appreciate myself I really don’t look for others to recognize and comment, because I am esteeming myself and loving myself. When I do that any other love that I get that day is just icing on the cake. (smile)

    • I never really thought about it and when I do I have never told myself that I love you. The only time I have used the word beauty in regards to myself is when I am saying I need my beauty sleep. The word wisdom is never used. To be honest I am the one who has trouble accepting compliments from others and it is beyond me to actually give them to myself. Thanks for the reflection. -Leah

    • Hey sis,
I don’t know you but I just requested you as a friend. I wanna help you find your pretty, because I know it’s there. You may say how do I know when I don’t know you, and I have to say this: I don’t need to know you because God says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and that is all I need to know. Elise know this I’ll say I love you and tell you that you are beautiful until you can say it to yourself.
I love you! Your Beautiful and Blessings and Hugs
      Cocco

    • No I didn’t b/c I’m just going through one of those phases of “I don’t deserve anything good(b/c I feel so bad & everything seems to be going wrong all at the same time)“. Too much to do w/ others in my family- their needs & it’s time for me to take care of them as they have taken care of me in the past. My husband’s skin cancer surgery on his face was my reminder that I’ll always love him no matter what he looks like- his warmth, love & sincerity come from his heart. Oh, he’s a very handsome man & no matter how many scars he’ll end up with, on his face, will ever ruin the beauty of his heart.
He tells me how beautiful I am & how good I look when we go out together & at other times when we are intimate(he loves touching my smooth skin, as he puts it) but I do not see what he sees; only the scars of so many surgeries & the gray in my hair & the wrinkles on my face.
The scars were necessary. I’ve earned every gray hair I have & the wrinkles are lines from worrying all those years before he came into my life & showed me what true love was.
I do what I can to take care that I look good for him because he loves me just the way I am. Thanks for the thoughts but I know beauty is only skin deep, it’s what’s in your heart that really counts- JUST MY OPINION.
Love ya’ sweet lady, you are beautiful!  Maria

I just get up in the morning do what I have to do and go. I try to keep life as simple as possible, however we all know that is sometimes next to impossible at times. Curve balls happen.

Take Care and Best Regards. -Leah

    • Thank you so much maritza for your love and encouragement to owlmaria. It is good when we can extend our love to one another it is important. Owl Maria I found out that no matter what happens in our lives we MUST look for the God and the Good in it. There is a time for everything and know this one thing sister. YOUR TIME IS NOW! You are being given an opportunity to choose. The choices have been set before you and now the ball is in your court. YOU are not alone by any means. For God is always with us, His rod and staff comforts us and He prepares a table before us in the presence of our ememies. Who are our enemies you might say. Our enemies are our (inner me’s) It’s the lie that we play over and over in our heads. The things we have heard all our lives. The seeds that have been planted in us from our youth and the things that we have spoken over ourselves. The things like: I’m nothing, I’m ugly, I can’t do anything right, I’m never gonna amount to anything, I’m no good, I’m stupid, I’m done those are the things that suck the life out of us. I speak life into you right now when I say that “You are more than a conquerer and your gonna make it. If there were no valley’s on our journey we wouldn’t know how to appreciate the mountain tops. I love you sister and I am here.
      Blessings and Hugs

    • I have been so down on myself lately because of my weight that I recently started listing all of the good things about myself. About two weeks ago I did undress and take a look in the mirror, although I did not really LIKE what I saw, I embraced it and thanked God for it, I began to love the fact that I am in great health, all of my organs function without a problem, my limbs work, etc.  Bottom line I decided that I will love myself while I work at improving myself.

Thanks Cocco for all of the wonderful inspiring posts. Your beauty uplifts us and reminds us of our beauty.

    • This is great Cocco!

For myself...I don’t do this on a daily basis, but I also don’t feel like I need to.  The way that I choose to live; with integrity and loving unconditionally...(I truely love everyone (myself first) and cannot think of a single person I hate).

Just the fact that I live and breath; my every breath is a prayer and I am love in motion...and so are you! I see my life itself as an embodiment of all this. My deepest desire is for everyone to attain their highest good.

      Thank you for sharing this!

I am beginning to love myself unconditionally since my recent separation. I have a list of the 25 things that I love about myself taped on my bathroom wall and I read it almost everyday.

I have realized that the only person in this world that can make me happy is ME.

We have an inheritance. His blood runs through us. WOW How could you not love what he created? We are the blessed. I could keep going but I’ll stop, thank you Father.

I have never said i love me! i tend to make sure that those around me feel loved and then wonder why i feel empty at times...i need to love me , and remember that i am a daughter of God and if i am not precious to anyone else i am precious to him.
