I just told off a total stranger on FB. My friend from highschool,lost her Dad a year ago to cancer. She has posted many things about missing her Dad and some things about cancer awareness. Some guy, got on there and was really mean to her about asking people to repost for awareness. He told her to get a life and that posting that crap wouldn’t help anyone etc etc. Surprisingly enough, this guy said he himself was a cancer survivor. I lost my Mom to cancer and I don’t like rude people, so I told him about himself. I was a bit mean myself, and I am usually never mean. He made me mad. IF you don’t like a post don’t read it but don’t tear someone else down when they are grieving a loved one. I am still mad. I may need to punch something! Anyway, that is my blog for today.
Yeah to you for standing up to him! However it happens all the time even on here. I just wonder tho if their true meaning is getting lost in the translation???? Could it be because it’s the WWW vs face to face?

Good for you for standing up to him!! I agree with you that if you don’t like someone’s post, you don’t have to read it.
Good job. Some people are just so miserable their goal is to try and make other people miserable too. I am glad you stuck up for yourself and for many other people too.
Now you know what I mean about FB and men..don’t care much for either of those combinations.
Sounds like he isn’t over the issues and emotional baggage that comes along with cancer. Why else would he feel the need to unload his gunnysack on a stranger? My uncle died from a brain tumor eight years ago and my grandmother still feels like it just happened. It is hard. Shame on him for his insulting reaction, but I’ll bet he is eaten up by feelings related to cancer, being a survivor, something related to that topic.
