Amy L. Harden is an author, speaker and respected Internet Expert/Authority on Mid Life Crisis, Depression, Successful Life Transitions and Mindset.  She writes and delivers "tell-it-like-it-is" messages to help people discover and achieve a life of excellence, significance, success and abundance. Themes include: self-discovery, motivation, empowerment, knowledge and understanding, self-reflection and elegance.

Men and women of any age, secular or faith-based audiences receive practical advice and inspiration that help them make immediate and lasting changes.

Many people around the internet know, Ms. Harden as Shepherdess, Shepherdess5 or Shepherdess56, an alias she adopted many years ago when her fifth child was born. She not only is the Shepherdess of her five children...she now is Shepherdess to those who join her internet community.

[Link Removed] her primary focus at this time.  Ms. Harden created this forum in an effort to help women who are depressed, struggling and finding difficulty in transitioning or navigating through the changes that occur at mid-life.  The forum is also a place that the husbands or partners of these women can come to seek knowledge, guidance and encouragement while also struggling along side them.  The forum offers discussion, chat, a WINMLC Bookstore and links to the best on the web on the topic of mid-life transition and crisis. The community is varied and members are from around the world, proving that mid-life crisis is a human experience and not bound by culture, race, religion or even gender.  Ultimately, the forum is for everyone!

[Link Removed] a commentary on being a Stay-At-Home Mom, experiencing the mental, physical and spiritual effects of going through Mid-life.  Her approach at times can be one of humor, strong opinion, even rage at what is going on within her home and the society at large.  She embraces and claims her Mid-life opinions, while finding the best and the worst in what others are offering in the world today.  This blog is a patchwork quilt of various topics as seen through eyes of a woman who has moved her Hot Flashes to the internet.  It is sassy, edgy and highly opinionated at times..." Out of the blue, straight to the point, tell-it-like-it-is, no holds barred, break a sweat, warm & fuzzy or rants & riffs on MLC...the Mid-Life Crazies...and other things that are rubbing me the wrong way...some times the right way!"  It lives up to its name.

[Link Removed] is an in-depth blog, primarily for women who are struggling with depression, mid-life transition or crisis.  Men are also welcome to read the blog entries, as they give a personal in-depth look at what women go through as they transition into the second chapters of their lives.  This blog will eventually be added to the AWE-A Woman of Elegance web site when it launches later this year.

[Link Removed]speaks to everyone, no matter where they are in their lives. The primary focus is equipping people to live "a life of excellence, significance, success and abundance through positive mindset, affirmations, visualizations, law of attraction/faith and holistic living." Abundant living begins with knowledge of the brain and how it works, along with knowing that it is your mindset that will rule the day. Ms. Harden researches, explores and comments on the best techniques, teachers and tools/products that are being used today. It is a one stop shop.

Ms. Harden will be releasing her first book, Postcards from Oz: Midlife on the Yellow Brick Road this summer.

Ms. Harden is a compelling storyteller, she is adept at weaving in-depth facts, data and her own life experiences and research into messages that make a personal impact...sometimes peppered with a sassy wit that only comes after a life well lived.

    • Tonight is the night for my interview with Les Brown at BlogTalk Radio.  I am so excited and a bit nervous...this is top notch promotion.

We will be discussing Mid-life Crisis/Transition/Depression in women and in men; what are the similarities and differences; symptoms and how to cope with the stress at work and at home, while avoiding the worst case scenario that is epidemic in our country today...the break down of our families and marriages.

BTW Les is looking for people to interview who are willing to dicuss mid-life topics/issues or have businesses that promote mid-life books and products in upcoming radio shows.  If you are interested, please contact me here at Fab40 and I will forward your information on to him. Please send me a bio, with business/product information, contact information with photo attached.  Les will contact you directly if he is interested in having you on his show.
I do not believe he is looking for people who are promoting other companies products.  Topics of interest are: aging, marriage, divorce, parenting, health issues, second careers, depression, relationships, second adulthood dating, re-marriage, infidelity, fitness/nutrition, Battle of the sexes.
